McKinley 6 from 6

Simon McKinley made it six out of six in Mid-May with back-to-back wins at the Carrick-on-Suir hillclimb weekend. For the sixth time in a row he scored maximum points in the Connaught Irish Hillclimb Championship.  Despite  the  other places being hotly contested, no driver is as consistent as McKinley. But with eight rounds still to go things could change. Both Sylvie Mullins and Paul O'Connell, and others too, could  come out and spoil the Dubliner's party. The next rounds, at Carlow on the 4/5 June, could see a turning point in the championship.
