Father & Son

Father and son Mike and Ben Dawson put their newly-built Mk2 Escort X-flow, originally built to do a 'dad and lad bonding' on the subsequently cancelled Africa Regularity Trial,  through its paces over the  weekend at Longcross Stages. The pair started well, but a few offs and time  penalties  put them down the field.

 'With only a  few driving events between us there's still a lot to learn,' admitted Ben. 'But we're looking for some Tarmac events to do this year, so that when the Africa Trial is back on track, we'll be ready for it!'
