CLASSIC CLUBMANS - CADWELL PARK

Cadwell Park , over the weekend of the 15/16 May, hosted round four of the Classic Clubmans Championship.

   After breaking a halfshaft in the first round at Oulton Park and netting full double points at the following two rounds at Croft, Peter Harper took pole and the race win at Cadwell to put the Mallock-Ford/Connaught driver in top spot in the Championship.

   Malcolm Jackson returned to the fray after his crash at Oulton, his new Mk21 A Sport Mallock having only turned a wheel for the first time in practice. After losing touch with the leaders, Jackson managed a creditable third place.

   The championship moves to Brands Hatch in June before going to Castle Combe, where  competitors will help celebrate 50 years of Clubmans racing.
