MONZA HISTORIC F1
3 June 2009
Rowland Kinch made it a first both for himself and for Connaught with a win at the historic Monza race track. Driving the G-Cat team's Arrows-DFV A4, the Maidstone man came though to win the Historic F1 race after the main challengers developed problems. But for a small fuelling problem which dropped Richard Eyre to fifth place, it would have been a one/two for CCE.
This makes it three wins and six top three finishes for Kinch in as many rounds. The next event for the team is on the Brands Hatch GP circuit in June. What price another win? Well, watch this space!
Many thanks to G-Cat. and to all the team.
