26 October 2008

On the back of his first Historic F1 win in Portugal the previous weekend, Rowland Kinch arrived in the warm sunshine of Spain at the Jarama circuit for the last race of the series. With a third place, a second and now a win under his belt in the Arrows-DFV A4, Rowland and the G-Cat team were on a high.
Good, warm weather were the order of the day for the practice and qualifying sessions and with new tyres and in only four laps, Kinch made pole by 0.4sec. With the weather still good on Sunday moring the race was on. Consistent lap times soon got Rowland out in front, never to be headed. So it was F1 race win number two for both Kinch and Connaught, a fine finish to what has been yet another good year.

Our thanks all involved.
