Orwell Supersports

28 June 2008

The Historic meeting at Brands over the weekend of the 28/29 June, was a busy one for all the Connaught customers.

With entries in all the races we were hoping for some good results. With highs and lows over the whole weekend. Bob Brooks had the miss fortune to crash out of the first Orwell, after getting involved in some elses accident. But some hard work and late night action got him out for a good finish in Sundays race two. Kevin Wilkins did his best to keep with the front runners in class D also.

Mean while Matthew Newman was right on the pace with his newly aquired Lotus 23B, finishing a good 9th O/A and fastest car in the class.

Come the Sunday, father Rodger was out to keep up family honnor with the BT14 1500 Twin Cam, doing well at the end of the weekend.

Yet another good weekend for all
