Spa Historic Weekend

The weekend of the 18 May saw many competitors travel to Spa for the Racing weekend.

With F1 TGP, Orwell Supersports and GpC Sports cars racing Connaught were well represented in all the races.

Using there Lola's, Lotuse's, Spice and Chrevon's, all the Connaught customers went well. Bob Brooks being the highest finisher with his Lola 212 BDG. Starting from the back of the grid, after gearbox problems, he cmae through the field to finish 2nd in class.

Thomas Hardy, also ina Lola 212 , had his best ever result with 4th and 6th in the two races over the weekend.

Mike Catlow, would have had a good weekend had it not been for a gearbox problem found after practice, 4th O/a would have been a good race against the Can Am cars and "winged!" two litre class.
