Orwell Supersports

In his first  year with Connaught BDG power, Bob Brooks, driving his Lola 212 Supersports car, has won the 2-litre D Class (non wing) in the Euporean Orwell Supersports Championship. Going into the last round at Spa, Bob's closest rival would have had to win both races. Being unable to run in these events, Bob decided to let Greg Caton drive them.

Greg went on to win his class comfortably, by 37 secs. This ensuried Bob's class win in the championship.

Connaught has been talking to many drivers in this Championship regarding engine builds for 2008, so let's see what next year will bring - Orwell champion overall, perhaps?
