Harper's Hat-trick
12 October 2007
After a season-long battle, Peter Harper won the 2007 Classic Clubman's Championship for the second time, retaining the title he won in 2006.
This gives him a hat-trick of A Class wins, having won the class since 2005 when he missed out on the overall title by a single point.
Driving his Connaught Mallock Mk20B, Harper now has the most successful car in the championship.
Connaught did not get the hoped-for 'one/two' as Malcolm Jackson could not do enough rounds this year, but he was still a close third.
Barry Webb took third in class B, despite also not being able to compete in all the rounds.
Once again this Championship was hard fought all the way to the final round.
Well done to all our Connaught customers - here's to 2008!
