Matt Oliver wins at Longleat

Top sprinter Matt Oliver scored another success with his Gould-Judd Connaught GR37 towards the end of September, this time at a hillclimb! Chris Cannell's 10-year-old hill record finally fell at the hands of the 2007 British Sprint Champion as he set the outright pace at Woolbridge MC's popular double-header weekend at Longleat. Matt's father, Bill, came through on the second runs to edge out southwest hillclimb ace Tony Wiltshire's 2-litre Ralt-Peugeot and make it a one/two for the Maidstone-based family team.
