CONNAUGHT ENGINES POWER TOP CLASSICS ON THE MIDLAND HILLS

Richard Jones scooped the overall classic racing award in the 2015 Midland Championship in his Connaught BDA powered Brabham BT29X. Jones, who set record pace with the car on all five Midland Championship hillclimbs, also finished second overall in the Championship itself - which is contested by state-of-the-art modern vehicles - together with the Championship class award and the top trophy for drivers over 60 years old! Driving his Connaught Hart powered Pilbeam MP53, Stuart Ridge finished second overall in the Classic racing series and took fifth overall in the main Midland Championship.
