QMN Championship
27 October 2014
This coming weekend, 1/2 November 2014, sees the last rounds of the QMN championship. Tony Paxman's Warrior 2.0lt Escort is in with a very good chance of winning the title outright. His consistency in the class throughout the year taking either wins or second places has put him in the prime spot.
With one practice and two races scheduled for the weekend, he could wrap up the title in the first race. Team manager Andy Pyke told us that's what he needed to do: 'Just like Turkington - then we can rest easy during the second race and use it to celebrate!'
If the championship win comes off, the Mk1 will be put up for sale. This will allow the team to build a Zakspeed Mk2 for the new season, this time running a CCE-built BDG on full race set-up and Injection.
This time next week, Tony P and the team, along with CCE, could be QMN champions. GOOD LUCK !!!
