Simon McKinley was confirmed as the 2013 Irish Hillclimb Championship winner after the North of Dublin Naul event. It took the local man just two timed runs over the weekend, using the Lant 2.4 Connaught Warrior, to claim the title.
He also drove his Escort, placing it fourth overall in the series. This very quiet man was, needless to say, very happy about his latest win. He is pictured left, with class 7 winner Dermot Nolan who also uses CCE power in his Reynard - an ex.BTCC 2-litre Peugeot Mi 16 motor.
