EYLES STRIKES GOLD!

Rodney Eyles has won the Bugatti Owners' Club's Prescott Gold Cup - and £250 - in his Ralt-Hart/Connaught. The prestigious annual award, which was first presented to the winner of the inaugural Monaco Grand Prix in 1929, Englishman William Grover in his Bugatti T35B, is now awarded by the BOC to the competitor whose performance at their Gloucestershire hillclimb is best in relation to target times set at the beginning of the year. Eyles' best performance beat his target time by 0.75sec. John Hayward's photo shows Eyles in the Prescott Esses on the way to yet another win in the pre-86 Classic racing car class.
