TWO MORE FOR McKINLEY

Dubliner Simon McKinley (pic - Robert Dwane PhotoGraphy) took back-to-back wins on his own doorstep, heading Sylvie Mullins' Gould-Judd V8 by over a second each time at the MEC's Connaught Irish Hillclimb Championship double-header at Naul on May 12/13. At the halfway point , the Lant-Warrior driver now has a four point lead over Mullins at the head of the series table but will miss the next two rounds as he is hillclimbing in France. So the remaining four rounds, at Kirkistown and Donegal, promise a tense climax to the season as the leading duo go head-to-head.
