After giving best to Sylvie Mullins' Gould-Judd V8 over the opening two-round weekend of the Connaught Irish Hillclimb Championship, Simon McKinley (pic - Robert Dwane PhotoGraphy) was right back on top by mid-April, winning both rounds of the second weekend over the sinuous Corkscrew and the bumpy Ballyallaban road courses in his 4-cylinder Lant-Warrior. He now heads Mullins by two points after four rounds of the twelve round series
